Don't let the title of the video define the artist...Raleigh based emcee, Steven "S.Gold" Cameron, has been moving forward since he started rapping. His 2010 Mixtape "The Forecast" has been one of my favorites from this area since I got it. You can hear the struggle and growth within him from beginning to end. Last year, S.Gold was a collaborating artist on Producer Millie Vaughn's "The Millie Tape" which featured a collection of North Carolina artists over his original beats. It showed that there is still some unity and building going on in this area. S.Gold's newest album, "The Storm" is planned for release this year. He describes it as an album that will show that he's making through the struggles and coming out stronger as he does. "Going Nowhere" is the first video release from the upcoming album. Enjoy!
