DJ KStones...More Than Just a "Black Dress"

East Carolina University graduate, Kristen Stoneman, started out her career on the turntables at the college radio station but has landed "KStones" in some impressive positions within the music industry. As one of the only female DJ's in the Triangle area of North Carolina, KStones has proven to be an equal contender to her male counterparts. Her resume boasts work with G105.1 FM's Bob and the Showgram, General Manager/Hip Hop Director of WZMB 91.3 FM, National Coordinator for Island/Def Jam College Marketing Team, CEO of Stoneman Records and 2011 Carolina Music Awards DJ of the Year. She's been featured in DStripped Magazine and 2011 Best of Awards Raleigh Downtowner Magazine. DJ KStones is a favorite among NC's Underground artists because she spins their music whenever she's able to at the local clubs she works in.

Being a female in a predominantly male environment can be discouraging to many, but KStones handles her business with professionalism and earns the respect from the industry easily. You can find her on the 1s & 2s at some of Raleigh's hottest nightclubs (606 on Thursdays, Noir on Wednesdays, The Black Flower on Fridays are some of her standing locations) and she is available for Private Events, Weddings, Birthday Parties and Event Planning. She has also been hosting a series of Mixtapes called "The Black Dress" which showcases her taste in music and her talents.

She's EVERYWHERE!
